Weekly Review - Time For Certification

P7s were 3 days at Culloden Academy. They all came back on Friday with vigour and enthusiasm for the future. Culloden Academy passed on their delight at the levels of engagement shown by our pupils as they take their step into secondary education.

Even though it's end of term there were still some creative learners. Children in different classes were eager to share books they had made. Kacey in P3JM has pressed some flowers and included this into her fabulous fact book.

Staffing and Classes

Workforce Planning are still finalizing our staffing requirement for next session. We now know we have been given 14 classes but still can't match staff to these classes.

Due to the complexity of class formation due to numbers of children in each stage we are left in a position of having composite classes in P1/2, P2/3 and a P3/4.

The P3/4 situation is particularly complex due to timings of day so we are working on lunch timing alterations at present. It is also clear that there will be situations where only 3 or 4 children from one stage may have to join a composite class. This is unfortunately beyond our control. More work is needing done I expect it'll be Wednesday before children and parents will know class formations for next session.
